Join us at Waterworks Aquatics as a part‑time (year‑round & seasonal) lifeguard. We are a premier swim school teaching children from 3 months to adults how to swim and promote safe swimming techniques.

A Lifeguard (also called Deck Guard) is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe swimming environment and responding to any emergency first aid situations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Actively scan designated swim areas and provide support to guests in need.
• Provide basic first aid for injuries or accidents.
• Perform opening and closing procedures of the pool deck.
• Conduct light maintenance and periodic restroom checks.
• Complete weekly training assignments.
• Read and respond to company messages.
• Communicate customer concerns to management through proper channels.

• Must have a genuine passion for working with children.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Competitive swimming experience is not required.
• If you are not certified in:
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications for adult, child, and infant.
  • Bloodborne pathogens certification.
• Lifeguard certification required (must be certified through the American Red Cross or YMCA).
• If you are not yet certified, you will have the opportunity to be certified during onboarding.
