Athletic Coach; Sports and Seasons

The Pegasus School is seeking enthusiastic and committed coaches to lead after-school athletic programs for elementary and middle school students. Coaching opportunities are available for a variety of boys’ and girls’ sports. Coaches will help student-athletes develop their skills, build character, and learn the values of teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive, inclusive environment.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Coaching seasons vary in length by sport and season, and scheduled hours vary depending on practice and game schedule.

Practices and games are held after school, Monday through Thursday, depending on the sport and the season's schedule.

The Pegasus School is situated in a park‑like 14-acre setting in Huntington Beach with facilities that include a theater, gymnasium, art studios, science and technology labs, library and classrooms. The Pegasus School is an environment that encourages creative and critical thinking, risk taking, and problem solving in all members of its community.

Pay Range: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour

Classification: hourly, non-exempt
