Position Summary

This position will help to ensure that the services and selling environment is fun and engaging for customers. The Sales Associate will drive and grow sales, deliver outstanding customer service and merchandising. Under supervision of the Store Manager, the Sales Associate must display and have knowledge of, and participate in store promotions, programs and products. The Sales Associate should connect and build rapport with prospective and existing customers.

• Greet customers and educate them about our products & services
• Walk the sales floor (all 3 floors) to interact with customers and keep sales floor tidy
• Maintain Stock/Inventory, notify management when products run low, keep products neat and in order
• Work at the register, providing a positive experience
• Maintain a neat store appearance, straighten merchandise, sweep floors, keep register area clean
• Prepare product displays and sample boards
• Reach sales goals
• May assist in counting cash from daily receivables
• Perform other duties as assigned by management & other team members

• Extensive standing and bending
• Lifting up to 10 lbs.

• Knowledge of Excel and Word
• Experience with DIY and interior design projects
• Painting experience
• Design Sense
• Professionalism
• Previous Sales Experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work weekends
• Reliable transportation
• 3 to 5 years sales experience
• College preferred but not necessary
