• Strong knowledge of meteorology with an emphasis on accuracy and personalized forecasts.
• Leadership and teamwork skills, bringing energy, confidence, and personality to newscasts and newsroom. Passion for learning about the community and engagement is essential.
• Days‑day position provides opportunities for growth with regular feedback and on‑site training with our team of meteorologists who have decades of experience. The chief meteorologist has been at the station for 35+ years and provides daily feedback and one‑on‑one training.
