Operates mammography equipment and performs procedures in accordance to department policies and procedures. Operates within the "Standards of Ethics" of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the "Clinical Practice Standards" established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist. Assists other areas and shifts as needed.

Satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Licensure/CertificationValid registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in mammography or meet MQSA quality standards (MQSA Sec 900.12 Quality standard (a) (2)). Valid Radiologic Technologist license with the Indiana State Board of Health. Valid CPR Certification. Must maintain MQSA technologist requirements of 15 mammography continuing education credits in a 36 month period prior to each MQSA inspection and 200 mammography examinations 24 months prior to MQSA inspection.
ExperiencePrevious experience preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role.
Other Qualifications- Knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures of breast imaging.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and share lifting of 100 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and applications.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
