What You Will Do

• Perform cleaning and maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Maintain supplies and samples, and prepare sterile media.
• Use standard microbiological techniques to enumerate, isolate, and identify cultures.
• Analyze data and prepare oral or written reports.
• Support maintenance of cell cultures and virus stocks.
• Clean and manage laboratory waste.
• Represent Microbiological Services professionally.
• Embrace Ecolab’s safety culture.

Position Details

• Location:
  
  Huntington, Indiana
• Shift: First shift (Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Compensation: $22.00 – $33.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology or related technical discipline
• Experience working in a laboratory environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in microbiology, biology or related discipline
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail

Compensation Range

The annual salary range for this position is $46,600 – $69,800. Factors such as experience, education, and location are considered.
