Hospitalist Physician

Hi there! This is Jason Long from Pro Touch Staffing. A Facility in Spencer, West Virginia is looking for a Hospitalist available to start in March for daytime coverage from 7a-7p. A provider that can work 7 on/7 off ongoing is ideal. If unable to provide 7 days, would need a minimum of 4-5 shifts at a time for continuity purposes will prioritize providers that are available 7 on/7 off

"I have lived in and around the Spencer area for several years. It is a small, rural west central West Virginia town. Opportunities for work are slim here, commutes are 20 minutes or more and nightlife is not very well represented. There are a couple of good restaurant, La Finca Mexican and Peking Chinese. The major employer in the area is Wal Mart which employs 150+ people, mostly part time.

All in all a pretty good place to live."

  - Meditech
• Number of Beds- 22
• Number of ICU beds
  - Facility does not have an ICU, however prefer providers with a minimum skill set to intubate and central line placement for emergencies
• Daily census- 8 Acute/4-6 swing
• Physician shifts- 7am-7p (single)
• APP shifts- 7p-7a (single)
• Specialty Coverages
  - Cardiology, General Surgery, PRN Pulm, Nephrology
• Procedures Required
  - Intubation, Central lines for emergencies

• Board Certified IM/FM or truly BE (w/in 5 yrs of residency).
  
  -REQUIRED, no exceptions
• PROCEDURAL LOGS required from every Provider within the past 12 months (ie.
  
  - Jan. '23 Present) reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents - REQUIRED
• Active WV License in hand at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS/NRP - REQUIRED
• Clean license/DEA and background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions
