Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology/Hematology
Full-time, clinical track position at the Department of Oncology, Marshall University Joan
C. Edwards School of Medicine.
Position will work in an academic comprehensive cancer center on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital, with dedicated oncology staff specializing in breast, gynecologic, orthopedic, urological, lung, and colorectal cancers.
Candidate will also work with faculty as part of the oncology fellowship program.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical care and treatment for patients with medical oncology and hematology conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams.
- Engage in academic teaching and research activities.
- Participate in the oncology fellowship program as a faculty member.
- MD/DO with specialized training in medical oncology or hematology.
- Board certification in medical oncology/hematology.
- Experience in a comprehensive cancer center academic setting preferred.
- Strong clinical, teaching, and research record.
