Job DescriptionThe Speech & Hearing Clinic in the Communication Disorders Department at Marshall University invites applications for a 12 month non‑tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor‑Early Interventionist. This non‑tenure track position will provide therapy to deaf and hard of hearing infants and toddlers through school age children and their parents. The position will be dedicated to providing Listening and Spoken Language services through West Virginia Birth to Three and contract services for Kanawha County Schools, as well as outpatient Listening and Spoken Language intervention on Marshall University’s South Charleston Campus.
Additional responsibilities will include support for student observations and experiences.

MU – Marshall University. Salary Range:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Provide therapy to deaf and hard of hearing infants and toddlers through school age children and parents.
- Deliver Listening and Spoken Language services through West Virginia Birth to Three and contract services for Kanawha County Schools.
- Offer outpatient Listening and Spoken Language intervention on South Charleston Campus.
- Support student observations and experiences.
- Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Speech‑Language Pathology, or related field.
- Credentials to qualify and willingness to pursue certification as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) as an AVT or AVEd.
