Job Description: The Bill Noe Flight School, located at Yeager Airport (KCRW), seeks a full‑time, 12‑month Ground School Instructor. The position will begin no later than December 1 2025 and may start earlier at the mutual convenience of the school and the selected candidate. The instructor will teach undergraduate aviation courses and serve as a flight instructor within the Part 141 flight education program.

Teaching duties may include face‑to‑face, virtual, and online instruction.

  • Help students with course schedules.
  • Assist with academic advising.
  • Assist with the assessment of program academic outcomes.
  • Participate in the review, revision, and development of courses.
  • Engage in research and professional service within university guidelines and other duties as required by the Director/Chief Flight Instructor.
  • Represent the flight school in promotional events that include instruction.

Location: Other Off‑Campus Location

Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined.
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree or current pursuit of one; experience in aviation instruction or flight operations.
  • Experience and credentials in a Part 141 flight education program are a plus.
