Position Title: Assistant Volleyball Coach

Department: Athletics – Volleyball

Location: Marshall University, Huntington, WV

Salary: Commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.

• Recruiting Coordinator.
• Provide additional support for the Head Coach in all aspects of team administration.
• Assist in planning and organizing all phases of a Division I volleyball program.
• Recruiting.
• Develop student‑athletes.
• Student‑athlete academic success.
• Match preparation.
• Community involvement.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations of Marshall University, Sun Belt Conference, and the NCAA.
• Other duties as assigned by Head Coach.

• Work week: 37.5 hrs.
• Almost two weeks off for Winter Break (December).
• 13 paid holidays.
• Annual and sick leave: up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year.

  Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year of volleyball coaching experience or equivalent.

Preferred: Additional education and coaching experience beyond the minimum.
