Position Title: Assistant Volleyball Coach
Department: Athletics – Volleyball

Position Details- Recruiting Coordinator.
- Provide additional support for the Head Coach in all aspects of team administration.
- Assist in planning and organizing all phases of a Division I volleyball program.
- Recruiting.
- Develop student‑athletes.
- Student‑athlete academic success.
- Match preparation.
- Community involvement.
- Adhere to all rules and regulations of Marshall University, Sun Belt Conference, and the NCAA.
- Other duties as assigned by Head Coach.
- Work week: 37.5 hrs.
- Almost two weeks off for Winter Break (December).
- 13 paid holidays.
- Annual and sick leave: up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year.
- Health insurance through West Virginia Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) – 7 health benefit plans.
- Tuition benefits for employees and eligible dependents.
- Retirement plan through Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA); full‑time eligible employees must participate in the mandated retirement plan (401(a)).
- Basic term life insurance ($10,000) at no cost; optional life insurance available with pre‑tax earnings.

Required: Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree. - Experience:
Minimum one year of volleyball coaching experience or equivalent.
Preferred: Additional education and coaching experience beyond the minimum.
