Assistant Professor - Department: COHP‑Nursing - MU9510
- Job Description: Part‑time (0.75 FTE), 9‑month (AY Fall and Spring) clinical track position on the Huntington Campus/South Charleston Campus. The Department of Nursing, in the College of Health Professions invites applications for a Clinical Track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning January 2026. Teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical instruction in the Pre‑Licensure BSN and/or BA/BS to BSN Program in med‑surg/fundamental nursing Other duties include academic advising of students, participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation, committee assignments, and active engagement in scholarly activities.

- Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.
- Education: Applicants must have a master’s degree in nursing; a doctoral degree in nursing is preferred. Must hold an unencumbered license (or be eligible for licensure) as an RN in West Virginia.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical‑surgical nursing is required. A minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience is highly recommended. Administrative experience is preferred but not required.
