The Maintenance Engineering Manager leads a cross‑functional team of engineers and maintenance professionals, driving process improvement and new technology integration across all production areas. The position focuses on ensuring safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
3 years in a leadership role
Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and automation
Strong working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
Demonstrated success in managing technical projects and capital investments
The role operates primarily within a manufacturing plant environment
Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving mechanical components is common
Frequent floor presence is expected to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure effective collaboration between departments. Standing and walking for extended periods may be required.
