Huntington, WV (Onsite) (Relocation $$ Available)

• The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for assigned manufacturing processes. Through input from the customer, plant staff, and production employees, the Engineer reviews process controls and emphasizes continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodology.
• Participate in the development of cell layouts, set‑up reduction (SMED), lead time reduction and improve productivity through waste reduction.
• Responsible for achieving product target cost, improving efficiency, and identifying possible production problems for existing products within their scope of accountability.

• Automotive environment engineering experience is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree (IE preferred). Chemical Engineers are not a good fit.
• Process improvement experience (efficiency, waste reduction, scrap reduction, etc.).
• Automotive Manufacturing industry engineering experience.
• AIAG core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA.
• PLC knowledge (A/B or Fanuc preferred, but any is acceptable). Troubleshooting or programming skills.
• Stable work history is needed.
