Overview
Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time OR Sterile Tech to work with our OR Sterile Department.
Responsibilities- Obtain sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment for the OR/OR Sterile in accordance with hospital and nursing service policies and procedures.
- Complete case carts and OR procedures.
- Distribute case carts.
- Return unused supplies.
- Restock sterilized supplies and instruments stocked in OR.
- Assist in cleaning, preparation, packing and sterilization of instruments used in the operating room and perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduated from an accredited OR Sterile Tech program.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience and/or certification.
- Candidates interviewed will be asked to present proof of required degrees, certificates and/or certifications at the time of interview; inability to provide documentation will disqualify.
