Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to work alongside the Rehabilitation Services Department. The PT provides high quality physical therapy services following standards of practice and laws set by the hospital, professional association, and federal, state and local governments. The therapist evaluates the need for, and implements physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of function.
The therapist also has a role in wellness or injury prevention programs for specific patient groups. The therapist may attend ward rounds, discharge planning, evaluation clinics, in-service training, staff meetings or other professional meetings. Also, supervises and assists in training students, assistants or volunteers.
