Specimen Collection Tech at St. Mary's Medical Center - Huntington, WV
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Specimen Collection Tech to work in our IP Specimen Collection Department. The primary purpose of the Inpatient Specimen Collector is to collect venous, arterial, and capillary blood specimens for analysis by the laboratory technical staff. To support and assist in obtaining non-blood specimens within scope, e.g., routine sterile and clean catch cup urinalysis, nasal swabs for viral culture, covid, flu, throat swabs for strep or throat culture, etc.
