Overview
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Rehabilitation Services Department.
Responsibilities- Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning and conducting Occupational Therapy treatments and patient education.
- Advance patients to meet the plan of care; communicate openly with the Occupational Therapist regarding patient progress and be open to suggestions in treatment approaches and techniques.
- Observe, record, and report on patients’ condition, reaction, and response to treatment according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
- Provide timely progress notes and charges.
- Assist in training and orienting students, new employees, or volunteers.
