Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full‑time Phlebotomy Supervisor to supervise and train phlebotomists in our Laboratory.
Responsibilities- Responsible for administrative duties including payroll and inventory control.
- Responsible for scheduling personnel and ensuring coverage 24 hours/day by taking calls and filling vacant shifts.
- Interview and screen all applicants for employment; make recommendations for hiring, transfer, dismissal, and discipline of personnel.
- Provide in‑service training and orientation to all phlebotomy new hires; conduct employee evaluations.
- Maintain and enforce current policy and procedures.
- Coordinate phlebotomy services for special functions such as community wide health fairs.
