Overview
The Manager of Clinical Engineering is responsible for developing a High Reliability Clinical Engineering program to maintain hospital-owned and leased equipment in a safe and serviceable condition. This role oversees the work order system and preventive maintenance programs that include all Clinical Engineering and medical equipment functions of the Environment of Care. The Manager will have management oversight of Clinical Engineering across the Marshall Health Network (MHN) system and is directly responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with The Joint Commission, OHFLAC, EPA, and CMS.
The individual will also communicate across all levels of MHN on Clinical Engineering and maintenance-related matters. The Manager will serve as an active member of multiple committees, including the Environment of Care Committee and will act as Chair of the Medical Equipment Subcommittee.
