HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to maintain our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our 9 million square foot campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
• Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve issues

Core Equipment:

• Refrigeration:
  Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines
• Cooking Equipment:
  Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets
• Ventilation & HVAC:
  Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems
• Dishwashing & Sanitation:
  High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems

Requirements:

• CFC Universal Certification
• EPA 608 certification
• Legal work authorization in the US
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
• COVID-19 vaccination
• At least 3 years of experience with commercial kitchen equipment service, refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting, and gas systems
