Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Hiwin Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as linear guideways, ball screws, linear motors and stages.

We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our fast‑paced, diverse, and safety‑centric team. In this role you will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. You will also prepare items for shipment while following the quality and productivity standards.

• Maintaining an accurate tracking of open and pending shipments
• Assisting in the processing and receiving of incoming inventory
• Making arrangements for pick up by the specified carrier on the customer’s purchase order
• Ensuring finished goods are properly packaged, wrapped, skidded, staged, and loaded on trucks
• Verifying the contents, weight/count, address, and shipping instructions against the shipping paperwork
• Maintaining inventory of all shipping materials and supplies

• Have obtained an Associate’s Degree, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Have 1-2 years international shipping/receiving experience and an understanding of documents required for international shipping
• Be knowledgeable of shipping terms, procedures, equipment, and the usage of different shippers (UPS, Fed‑Ex, etc.)
• Have good math, computer, and organization skills
• Have an intermediate skill level in Excel
• Be able to properly prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment

Work hours:

8:00 am – 5:00 pm
