This position offers a base pay range of $38.00/hr - $44.00/hr. The actual pay will depend on your skills and experience; please discuss this with your recruiter.
About the FacilityAlden of Huntley is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation and nursing facility seeking nurses to join our team. We provide tuition reimbursement, uniform coverage, comprehensive orientation, EMR training, and pharmacy training to support your success. You will work with patients across various skill levels, including skilled nursing, long-term custodial care, and memory care.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois or Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification or certification within two weeks of employment.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices.
- Interest and/or experience in elderly care.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Mobility throughout the workday.
- Ability to handle mental and emotional stress.
- Good vision and hearing, with or without prosthetics.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with various individuals.
- Good health and emotional stability.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment or residents over 50 pounds.
- Follow directives and work on different units or tasks as assigned.
- Develop and implement care plans.
- Supervise and instruct staff.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Attend care planning conferences and document care accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing education.
