Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hiring 2-10PM and 10PM-6AM shifts

Base pay range$18.00/hr - $24.50/hr
Job SummaryProvide residents with daily nursing care according to federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, facility policies, and directives from supervisors to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications- Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited program and the Department-approved nursing assistant competency evaluation or military training with similar content.
- At least 16 years of age, with good moral character, honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Evidence of employment or occupation and residence for two years prior to employment.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Current CPR certification or certification within two weeks of employment.
- Interest or knowledge in caring for the ill, disabled, and elderly; tactful communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
- Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
- Personable, enthusiastic, and personable.
- Mobility throughout the workday.
- Ability to handle mental and emotional stress.
- Senses of sight and hearing, or adequate prosthetics.
- Independence, flexibility, integrity, and effective teamwork.
- Good health and emotional stability.
- Ability to work with ill, disabled, young, and emotionally upset or hostile individuals.
- May need to lift, push, pull, and move over fifty pounds.
- Exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions, including HIV and Hepatitis
B.
- Follow nursing procedures and protocols, including dress code.
- Assist residents with daily activities and develop care plans.
- Participate in care plan conferences and resident/family councils.
- Report concerns to the Administrator.
- Ensure residents' safety and comfort during rounds.
- Maintain a warm, positive, and calm environment.
- Participate in in-service education and orientation programs.
- Recommending equipment and supply needs, inventorying personal possessions, assisting with transfers and discharges.
- Participate in shift reports, monitor intake/output, and perform basic health assessments.
- Maintain cleanliness, respond promptly to call lights, and assist with personal care and feeding.
- Record resident data, observe health changes, and report abnormalities.
- Assist with hygiene, skin checks, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance and perform other duties as assigned.
