Our Hunter Foundry Sales Engineer is a professional who specializes in selling complex technical OEM products and services. They combine their technical expertise with sales skills to understand customer needs, provide technical solutions, and support the sales process.
Responsibilities- Technical Presentations:
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers. - Customer Consultation:
Work with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements. - Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support. - Order Management:
Secure orders, ensure product standards, and oversee product delivery. - Customer Relationship:
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. - Product Development:
Recommend product modifications or new products to meet customer needs and improve cost-effectiveness. - Problem Solving:
Assist clients in resolving issues with product usage.
- Education:
Degree in engineering or a related field preferred. - Experience:
Previous experience in a past sales or technical role preferred. Experience with Foundry molding equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of the technical aspects of the products being sold. - Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical information clearly. Ability to sell complex technical products and solutions. Self-starter able to adapt to changing work schedules to accommodate the customer.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid passport for international work.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Position requires 55% to 80% travel with occasional international travel.
