Overview
Boulo is recruiting a Senior Audit Associate in Huntsville, Alabama for our client, a leading CPA and advisory firm that spans beyond audit and tax to include corporate advisory, technology and risk solutions, HR Solutions, and more.

Hybrid in Huntsville, Alabama. Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

Responsibilities- Prepare all sections of an audit with minimal supervision, supervise the preparation of less complicated sections of an audit, and take primary responsibility for the preparation of financial statements.
- Manage client contact, coordination within the company, staffing requirements, administrative documentation, and preparation timing for small and medium-sized engagements.
- Collaborate with more experienced personnel on coordinating large client engagements, identifying problems, process improvements, and computer model analysis; help clients determine optimal strategies.
- Maintain quality client relationships.
- Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company’s services to facilitate expansion with existing clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1 - 3 years of experience in audit
- Possession of CPA or CPA eligible
- Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Experience with a variety of software packages (Engagement experience a plus)
- Ability to supervise staff effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills when working with staff and clients
- Ability to provide guidance and direction to department staff who are not direct reports
