PurposeValkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Directed Energy - High Power Microwave Program Management Analyst in Huntsville, AL
.
Contingent upon contract funding.
Responsibilities- Assist the program lead with assessing, preparing, and providing mission short‑ and long‑range goals, mission and calendars, objectives, and initiatives to be presented to senior leadership.
- Assist in program management of projects and efforts that are part of the High‑Powered Microwave Branch or other assigned efforts.
- Attend and participate in organizational staff calls, stand‑ups, office tag‑ups, working groups, ad‑hoc IPTs or similar venues; assess action items from meetings and engage in the resolution process; propose responses to inquiries based on actions assigned; prepare notes or after‑action summaries, track action items, and make recommendations for closure.
- Work with material developers to maintain situational awareness and progress of instrumentation build, testing, and utilization of one‑off equipment and/or prototypes.
- Take part in meetings/briefings; ensure information is passed between the material developer and the government customer.
- Maintain task tracker, take appropriate actions to complete taskers, track tasker suspense completion date and follow‑up until completed.
- Assist with daily office operations and prioritize events based on known activities or guidance provided such as synchronization and integration of events and activities for the division through coordination, consolidation, and collaboration of information.
- Provide recommendations to resolve issues or conflicts; coordinate impacts and changes, receiving direction from senior program managers.
- Create, compose, consolidate, and review documentation (e.g., correspondence, briefings, responses to inquiries, talking points) for correctness, format, spelling, and grammar before sending out for approval or signature; draft responses to taskers, RFIs, and other key stakeholders.
- Support program updates and assist in developing executive‑level briefings, including accomplishments, impacts, risks, issues, and challenges; coordinate documents (e.g., white papers); conduct pre‑meetings to prepare and distribute read‑ahead; secure approval of documents within read‑ahead timelines prior to submission for executive forums.
- Assist with special projects where multiple functions are involved, coordinating actions, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion, and consolidating data as necessary; review to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability. Consistently develop and sustain cooperative working relationships and ensure visitor authorization requests (VARS) are prepared when needed.
- Assist in the efficient operations/administration of the Project Office.
- Must have a Bachelors degree and at least five years of related experience.
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
- Must have prior experience working with DA civilians and military organizations.
- Must have experience working with internal/external taskers.
- Must have program management experience.
- Must have experience developing information papers and decision briefings.
- Must have experience working on or with IPTs.
- Previous military or DA civilian experience, preferred.
- Background in program management and reporting, preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Project and other program management tools, preferred.
- Previous liaison experience, preferred.
- Ability to work in a dynamic high‑pace work environment, preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, preferred.
- Must have a DoD Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Minimal travel; 10% or less.
