This role entails scheduling, subcontractor management, communication with the client and building occupants, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity‑specific education, and assurance of compliance.

LocationThis position will report to our office location at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to Contract Documents.
- Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.
- Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily.
- Coordinate/communicate with Owner as necessary.
- Manage subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, AHJ field coordination, daily.
- Manage field staff coordination with Quality Control Manager and Site Safety and Health Officer.
- Attend the pre‑construction conference, pre‑work meetings including three‑phase inspection meetings.
- Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Attend/participate in weekly Owner’s meetings.
- Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor’s subcontracted scope of work.
- Manage all coordination necessary to complete the scopes of work and prevent extra work or lost time to the greatest extent possible.
- Be familiar with the subcontractor’s budget and cost structure.
- Review and be knowledgeable of the Baseline Project Schedule.
- Provide input on dates, durations, and coordination, monthly.
- Prepare short‑term detailed look‑ahead schedules, weekly.
- Request, prepare, and hold coordination meetings as necessary to support the Project Schedule.
- Coordinate with the Subcontractors and Owner for progress billing, monthly.
- Oversee quality control and safety programs.
- Manage deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading.
- Supervise equipment usage on site such as cranes or earth‑moving equipment.
- Ensure project conformance to national and/or local building codes.
- Maintain accurate daily records.
- 10 years’ experience in similar projects, building renovations, and/or new construction.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF.
- As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.
- Experience managing USACE and/or NAVFAC government construction projects.
- OSHA 30‑hour certification.
- Experience with Procore.
- Experience with RMS.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (post‑accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
