Comprehensive / ASEG - Glaucoma/Cornea - Ophthalmologist - Full-time – OD/MD Practice – Huntsville, AL role at Eyes On Eyecare

We are a premier network of integrated eye care practices and specialists located across Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. We see a mix of Medical/Vision patients. We have 48 clinics including satellites, some with optical, and 5 surgery centers. We are currently the largest eye care provider in the state of Virginia.

Schedule:

Full-time. Compensation is based on experience.

Environment:
As a general MD in our practice, you’ll have the opportunity to provide a wide range of services to your patients, including cataract surgery, lasers, and minor procedures. Our MDs typically see 45 to 50 patients a day with a scribe and tech.

Location:

You will work in a friendly and upbeat environment, typically alongside another MD and an OD, with access to all equipment needed to practice full scope medical care (e.g., OCT, visual field, topographer).

Opportunity: 7:30 AM to 5 PM schedule with no weekends or evenings for this role.

• A medical degree in ophthalmology
• Successful completion of an ophthalmology internship/residency
• Valid state license to practice ophthalmology
• We’re looking for a cataract surgery ophthalmologist interested in performing high-volume surgery in an independent and autonomous role
