Field Service Technician

Gastops is seeking a Field Service Technician to conduct field and in‑house repairs, train customers on equipment use, and support fielded sensors and test instrumentation for Diagnostics, Prognostics, and Health Management (DPHM) solutions for rotary and fixed‑wing aircraft.

With over 40 years of experience, Gastops delivers advanced equipment sensing and analysis products—online oil debris sensors, torque measurement sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and at‑line oil analysis systems—to industries worldwide, including aviation, energy, marine, industrial, and transportation.

• Conduct field and in‑house repairs of complex equipment and sensors.
• Analyze, evaluate, and test products and their related performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Install upgrades and synchronize engineering field changes.
• Maintain effective customer communications and relationships.
• Provide on‑site and virtual training to customer personnel.
• Train, assign, and supervise other technicians as needed.
• Work with technical teams to accomplish time‑critical tasks.

• Experience analyzing and evaluating product performance and developing solutions.
• Experience conducting product briefings with customers.
• Experience working with established processes and procedures.
• Experience with training development and execution.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus two additional years of education or experience in electronics repair.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance (if required).
