Position: NDT Inspector - Eddy Current (ET) - Level II - B Shift (Night Shift)

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of technicians, you will perform multiple NDT methods for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of assuring part integrity, quality, and life span. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
** Responsibilities:
*** Perform radiographic inspections using film and digital radiography panels
* Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements
* Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order
* Perform all necessary daily, weekly, monthly process control checks
* Documentation and organization of inspection results
* Interface/communicate with Engineers and/or Managers to describe inspection results

* Qualifications:

*** Level 2 experience in radiography (Film, DR, or CR)
* Must be able to pass
** Liquid Penetrant General Test
** within a week of start date, and a
** Specific Test
** by week 3 (General Test study materials will be provided if needed)
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to support Monday – Thursday, 1st Shift with occasional overtime
** Desired:
*** Experience with isotope work
* Computed Tomography (CT)
* Radiography Testing (RT)
* Experience in low rate to high mix production environment, preferably in aerospace
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, additive manufacturing, forging, casting, and composites fabrication

Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including:
Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
* Required for certain Job Profiles:
Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
