Controls Automation Specialist

The Automation Controls Specialist will be responsible for their assigned projects from receipt of order until completion of installation. This role will include but is not limited to: electrical design, pneumatic design, programming, testing and installation.

Programming will consist of, but is not limited to: PLCs, HMIs, Robots, VFDs, Servo drives and vision systems. The individual will be required to perform field service on previously installed equipment as well as equipment installed by other manufacturers.

• Proficient in PLC and/or robot programming languages.
• Excellent analytical skills to be applied in the design, programming and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
• 2+ years of automation experience
• PLC and HMI programming experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a team player.
• Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Designing pneumatic controls systems
• Electrical design experience
• AutoCAD experience
• AutoCAD Electrical 2009 and up
• Motoman, Fanuc, or ABB robot programming
• Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Toyopuc, Omron, and/or Mitsubishi PLC programming
• Industrial I/O network configuration
• Cognex and/or Keyence vision system programming
