Job Duties

As a Reliability Engineer, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Perform analysis at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications Reliability Engineer (Level
2)
  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 2 years of experience in the following engineering fields:
    Reliability, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Aerospace, Electrical, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Controls or a Master’s degree
  • Ability to identify and manage risks to access reliability to prevent downtime, reduce costs, and improve performance
  • Participate in Reliability engineering reviews
  • Liaison with other Reliability engineers and programs to ensure best practice and share knowledge
  • Conduct independent reliability analysis as deemed necessary
  • As a Reliability Engineer, you will provide subject matter expert advice on assigned programs
  • Experience in Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Requirements Impact Assessments, Change Requests, and Engineering Change Proposals
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence)
  • Active Secret US Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
  • Experience in Reliability Engineering
  • Experience with Reliasoft or Windchill Reliability Software
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,600.00 - $

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
