• Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of system‑level functional and environmental tests to validate performance and compliance.
• Oversee the development and interpretation of engineering documentation, including drawings, work instructions, test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
• Direct the design and implementation of test fixtures to support mechanical and environmental test activities.
• Review and analyze test data, identify issues, and guide corrective actions or design improvements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior test engineers, supporting their development and ensuring quality execution.
• Coordinate test activities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, customers, and subcontractors to meet program objectives and schedules.
• Prepare and present technical findings, recommendations, and program updates to senior leadership and prime contractors.
• Ensure adherence to customer, program, and defense industry requirements, including standards associated with DoD, Army, USSF, and MDA programs.

• U.S. citizenship required due to facility security requirements.
• Active Secret clearance (or higher).
• 15 or more years of experience in test engineering.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior test engineers.
• Strong defense‑industry experience focused on Department of War, Army, USSF, and MDA customers.
• Experience designing test fixtures.
• Experience conducting system‑level functional testing.
• Experience conducting environmental testing (thermal, shock, vibration, modal, EMI).
• Hands‑on mechanical design and manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to advise senior leadership and prime contractors.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

• Experience with LabVIEW and MATLAB.
