Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and procedures based on system requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate and execute tests for hardware, software, and integrated systems supporting advanced air platform technologies.
  • Test Execution and Data Collection:
Perform functional, performance, and stress testing in laboratory and operational environments (e.g., Hardware-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, flight tests).
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to evaluate system performance and identify gaps or defects.
  • System Validation and Operational Readiness:
Validate system functionality, including sensors, communications, avionics, and mission systems, ensuring readiness for operational deployments.
  • Conduct regression testing to confirm software and hardware updates meet requirements without introducing new issues.
  • Defect Identification and Resolution:
Troubleshoot system failures and document test discrepancies, working with cross‑functional teams to develop solutions.
  • Track corrective actions and risks to ensure all issues are resolved prior to system delivery.
  • Compliance and Integration:
Ensure test procedures align with DoD testing standards, frameworks, and cybersecurity requirements (e.g., RMF, MIL‑STD).
  • Collaborate within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to address system integration challenges and ensure seamless operation across subsystems.
  • Technical Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and deliver technical reports, test summaries, and presentation materials for program leadership, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain test records and configuration management to support system sustainment and compliance auditing.
