This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Huntsville AL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

- You will design automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test.
- You will work with a team of engineers for the development of Special Test Equipment that requires research, test equipment/system development, for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Avionics, Control Systems Telemetry, Electro‑Optical and Radiation Detection Equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components using analog and digital data acquisition and control systems, FPGA, real‑time systems, computers;
and control and test equipment.
- Prior circuit design experience.
- 3+ years professional experience.
- While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. US citizenship is required.
- Understanding of Engineering Circuit fundamentals (analog & digital) and of product configuration control processes.
- Experience with designing automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test.
- Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation.
- Experience with wire harness design and electronics assembly development and integration with the ability to troubleshoot and isolate the root cause of failure along with developing test plans & procedures traceable to the product and system requirements.
- Perform hardware engineering best practices to include requirements analysis, design, and test & integration.
- Experience with interactions, planning and coordination with cross‑functional development teams and internal & external customers across multiple disciplines.
- Able to work autonomously and drive items to closure.
- Experience with CREO and Visio.
- Ability to travel on occasion.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Clearance Level: Secret
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
