Sr. Mechanical Designer (Solidworks)
Seeking an experienced CAD Designer to collaborate on exciting projects within the CAD group of the Engineering Division.
Duties / Requirements- Design, create, modify, and maintain parametric 3D models and 2D models using 3D CAD software:
Solidworks. - Verify drawing compliance to standards for documentation release; working with PDM systems.
- Prepare ECOs/ECNs and documentation for release.
- Design mechanical systems including process equipment, pressure vessels, heat transfer equipment, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.100.
- Extensive experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Experience supporting the Nuclear Industry highly preferred.
- Other duties as assigned.
- AS Degree (or Technical Certification) with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
