Engineering Change Order Coordinator – Leidos

Leidos is seeking a talented ECO Coordinator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. This role focuses on coordinating manufacturing orders, evaluating cost impacts, and ensuring seamless communication between engineering and production.

• Receive ECO’s from Engineering and determine impact to manufacturing.
• Coordinate modifications of Manufacturing Orders with Production Planners.
• Evaluate the cost impact of any stranded material as a result of ECO’s.
• Coordinate PO product revision modifications with Buyers.

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience will be considered.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or purchasing activities, including experience obtaining quotes and interacting with vendors.
• Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

• Preferred candidates will also meet some of the following:
• Electromechanical components or manufacturing.
• Deltek Costpoint accounting software.
• Windchill configuration management software.
• Interpreting and creating Bills of Materials.
• Government contractor material purchasing requirements.
