We are seeking a motivated Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer III with experience in electronic hardware design and test. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PCB design using Altium Designer, a strong understanding of digital logic circuits, and hands-on experience with common electronics test and measurement equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team on advanced electronic systems.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain schematic and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
Design, analyze, and troubleshoot digital and mixed-signal circuits.
Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies.
Support prototype builds, test documentation, and design reviews.
Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Participate in product testing, verification, and continuous improvement activities.
U.S. Citizenship
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in electronic design and testing
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required
Proficiency with Altium Designer (schematic capture and PCB layout)
Strong understanding of digital logic, signal integrity, and circuit fundamentals
Proficient with standard lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.)
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with embedded firmware development
Familiarity with VHDL and Xilinx FPGA design tools
Basic understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration
