Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. provides a pay range of $25.00/hr – $35.00/hr based on skills and experience.

Location:

Atlanta, GA (Douglas County)

• Perform on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific observations/evaluations.
• Monitor and inspect roadway construction to ensure overall compliance with plans, safety, and contract requirements.
• Conduct record-keeping to document observations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives.
• Interpret and work from drawings and specifications.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant roadway testing experience.
• Georgia Department of Transportation RTT Certified Technician.
• ACI certification required.
• Radiation safety training for use of Nuclear Density Gauge required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.

• Physically mobile at construction sites and field assignments.
• Ability to carry instruments and equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.
• Subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including extreme cold and heat.
