Systems Engineer MBSE
EOS Defense Systems USA, Inc. is looking for a Systems MBSE Engineer to join our team. EOS Defense Systems USA is a world leader in space information and intelligence services, optical sensor units and remote weapon systems for land, sea and air.
The MBSE Systems Engineer will ensure RWS system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance metrics. The engineer will coordinate system development tasks, including design, development, integration, and formal testing, and oversee all transitions into production. The engineer will develop and complete actions in systems specifications, technical and logistical requirements, and other disciplines, creating and maintaining programmatic and technical documentation to insure effective, efficient planning and execution, and manage system configurations.
This is an On‑Site position.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science; or a STEM degree with demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering.
- 8+ years of demonstrated proficiency with requirements management, analysis and allocation.
- 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in SysML and familiarity with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
- Understanding of the Systems Engineering V‑model.
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool sets as well as Project Management.
- Experience with Requirements Management Tools (such as DOORS or Jama) and MBSE tools (Cameo).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level security clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good command of English language, is a fundamental requirement.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to travel, as needed.
The Systems Engineer (MBSE) will establish and manage requirements and architecture baselines utilizing MBSE and Digital Engineering methodologies across the EOS Defense Systems USA product portfolio. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for decomposition of customer requirements through the MBSE toolset to establish behavioral requirements within the system architecture model.
- Define use cases and perform requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability.
- Create, analyze, and maintain system models using Cameo to support system architecture development, requirements decomposition, design verification, and system integration activities.
- Develop, manage, and analyze system requirements and perform decomposition from functional to allocated and product baselines.
- Collaborate with program and customer counterparts to develop system engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate as a member of the system engineering team to establish policies, procedures, and best practices for adoption across the discipline while also ensuring configuration management and integrity of the requirements and model baselines.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to develop technical solutions to ensure requirements are correctly incorporated into both the model and the design of the deliverable system.
