LCT Maintenance SME

Overview

The LCT Maintenance SME will be assigned to the Operator Training Devices team of the Apache Program Management Office (PMO). Responsible for providing the Apache PMO logistical support for program objectives.

• Prepare logistics analyses and recommendations regarding day-to-day maintenance as well as production design planning for the LCT.
• Review and contributes to the drafting of maintenance documentation plans and reports.
• Travel CONUS and OCONUS for both USG and FMS maintenance efforts.
• Brief during development meetings: PDR, CDR, TIM etc.
• Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) products from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), in multiple aspects of design including LCT trailers, cockpits, cabinet, floor plans, packing, and maintenance SOPs.
• Prepare analyses and makes recommendations for design modeling, maintenance practices, technical publications, and improvements in transport practices.
• Provide logistics analyses and recommendations for AH-64 Maintainer's courseware development, and maintenance training presentations.
• Verify LCT condition during Phase inspections of the devices
• Recommend updates to testing protocols and procedures
• Recommend updates to technical manuals
• Recommend updates and improvements to hardware of the LCT
• Train technicians in the field as required on updated hardware functionality, phase testing protocols, technical manuals, and maintenance practices
• Respond to calls from sites and assist with maintenance issues

• Accredited BS/BA degree appropriate to the field of expertise, Acquisition, Logistics, Business or Management, as it relates to the task stated in the description and eight (8) years of task related experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a High School diploma/GED and 11 years of aviation experience.

  Previous work experience directly supporting LCT site maintenance is required.
