Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Software Systems Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills
- Exposure to satellite payload or missile guidance & control subsystems
- Familiarity with model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo
- Experience with cybersecurity testing (e.g., FIPS‑validated libraries, secure boot)

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
