Senior Systems Analyst

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production team. You will focus on requirements definition, elaboration and verification in support of Missile Defense framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) development, including software containerization activities. Your work will involve interaction between the Government and Prime Contractors in support of MDA’s M&S and integration and test programs and may include analysis of systems engineering processes to ensure effectiveness of this work.

• Develop and review Framework, Rep Box and CTM requirements and diagrams
• Develop and review Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents (ICD)
• Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with internal and external stakeholders, including Prime Contractors and Missile Defense elements
• Actively participate in Framework, Rep Box and CTM Program Agile Increment Planning activities
• Develop and review verification and validation plan for CTM development and coordinate with the accrediting organization
• Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc.
• Play a role in overall functional strategic planning of Framework, Rep Box and CTM Systems Engineering (SE) processes within the organization

• MA/MS degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance
• Knowledge of model and simulation (M&S) development
• Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and applications
• Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
• Experience in model and simulation requirements development
• Experience in model and simulation verification and validation
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

• Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models
• Experience with environmental models and environmental states and effects
• Experience with missile defense system (MDS) and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
