Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Years of

Experience:

Three (3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; additional requirement for mechanical specialization: must have completion of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and one (1) year of experience in mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Desired

Experience:

Industrial Maintenance/Mechanical A.A.S., or Aerospace Technology A.A.S. preferred.

Skills Needed: Welding experience a plus.

Duties:

• Support mechanical operations in and around Test Stand/fixtures.
• Operate and maintain equipment for test support.
• LPART (Liquid-Propellant-Action-Response-Team) certified or ability to obtain; hold or obtain Class “A” CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Comprehend various test setups and lead the mechanical responsibilities while following applicable standard operating procedures.
• Operate forklifts from Class VII and below, mobile and overhead crane, and other similar equipment.
