Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree and 3 years of related experience
- Minimum of 2‑year experience in Reliability and Maintainability discipline
- Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Experience with SW reliability analysis
- Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements
- Experience on a large‑scale missile defense system like GMD
- Current active in‑scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs

What We’re Doing
Become a part of something IMPACT‑ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks.
The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
The Work
The successful candidate will perform System Reliability & Maintainability (RAM&T) Engineering Analysis. They will establish, monitor, and verify subsystem RAM&T performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure RAM&T program requirements are achieved. Primary responsibilities include reliability, maintainability, and testability. The candidate will liaise with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers for the RAM&T of the assigned subsystem, support the Product teams in investigating RAM&T issues and developing mitigation plans, and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment with diverse assignments and collaborative teamwork.
Due to the nature of the role, this position is not offered as a teleworking or hybrid position.

- Minimum 5 years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability discipline
- Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)
- Experience with Built‑In Test (BIT) testability analysis
- GWS experience
- Leadership experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment

Work Location & ScheduleOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule:
9x80 every other Friday off.
Secret; requires U.S. citizenship.
