Job Summary
K seeks to hire a Senior Logistics Analyst to support Project Office Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (PM UAS) with the fielding and training of new Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS). The candidate will perform a wide range of duties and responsibilities in support of the Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Product Office (SUAS PdO). Additionally, the candidate will assist with coordinating training, fielding, and testing events with organizations, both internal and external to the SUAS Product Office, including supported units, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and additional UAS stakeholders.
Organizational skills, planning, and the ability to multitask are paramount to this position. Candidates must be able to travel extensively while balancing competing priorities and meeting required suspense dates.
- Performs New Equipment Fielding (NEF) to support New Equipment Training (NET) for all SUAS PdO systems, including, but not limited to associated mission simulators and other automated training systems.
- Assists with planning, development, coordination, and execution of training plans to successfully field and train units on the proper use, operations, safety, and deployment of various UAS.
- Responsible for the conduct of NEF/NET and UAS flight operations of new or developmental systems for U.S. Army, sister services, other government agencies, and potentially foreign military services undergoing fielding and training of UAS.
- Assists SUAS PdO with other training related and logistics related events and activities to include Technical Manual development/acceptance, Logistics Demonstrations, Maintenance Evaluations, Technical Evaluations, fielding and harvesting of UAS equipment.
- Provides direct coordination between training units, OEMs, and the SUAS PdO on all matters related to UAS fielding operations.
- Conducts inventories
- Fills out hand receipt documents; DA Forms 2062 and 3161, and DD Form 1149
- Extended hours of operations (Overtime / Flex Time) is required.
