This role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. "Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship" Required Education, Experience, & Skills As a Hardware Engineering Lead, you will provide project level leadership to ensure successful execution of program plans and accomplishment of engineering department goals.

You'll guide teams performing research, development, and consulting assignments of a professional technical nature where extensive and diversified knowledge of hardware engineering principles and practices are necessary to successfully accomplish objectives. Required

Job Skills , Responsibilities, & Experience includes:
* BSEE or BSME with 10+ years and commensurate experience leading engineering teams
* Possess solid technical leadership practices for multi-disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical products
* Team sizes may range from small to large (5, 10, to 20+)
* Team disciplines include Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Optical (EE), RF (EE), Firmware (FW), & Design Drafting (DD)
* Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance
* Implementing established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency
* Possesses sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
* Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates
* Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties
* Utilizes computer skills to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution
