GMD Systems Analysis​/Data Analysis

DESE Research, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill a GMD Systems Analysis/Data Analysis position.

Job Details:
The Systems Analyst will support Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program by performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) analyses of GMD exercises and Real-World Events (RWEs). Analysis results will determine the overall GMD system probability of engagement and will inform design of the GMD system.

• Planning and executing BMDS analyses.
• Planning and executing analyses to support GMD Exercises and Real World Events (RWEs).
• Planning and executing analysis in support of GMD fielding assessments.
• Experience with systems analysis or performance analysis including system performance measures of effectiveness analysis, technical performance measures, discrimination methods and techniques definition, or probability of engagement analysis.
• Experience developing, delivering, and maintaining large number Monte Carlo medium fidelity analysis tools.
• Technical background with five or more years of experience.
• Experience with missile defense programs.

• Experience using MATLAB and Python scripting to develop analytical tools or perform numerical modeling of complex systems.
• Red-Hat/Linux Operating System and Linux shell scripting
• Experience developing and maintaining analysis tool design documentation, test data, third party software and compilation files.
• Familiarity with GMDSim software suite
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with Anaconda Navigator
• Familiarity with git

• A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
