Macha PSM started in 2023 and is the fastest-growing process safety management firm in the US. The company is looking to hire our next engineer to assist with refrigeration engineering and process safety consulting projects. All training will be provided in various forms: in-house/on-the-job training, onsite and online trainings at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and self-study training to obtain a RETA CARO certificate (Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association, Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator).

Complete various engineering projects: P&t, relief vent analyses, PHAs, mechanical integrity audits, gathering process safety information, refrigeration load calculations, material and energy balances, depicting site maps, machinery room ventilation assessments, etc.
Drive and/or fly to facilities to perform these activities (est. 10-25% travel)
Assist in training other staff members and contribute toward training resources
QualificationsBS in engineering (chemical and mechanical preferred, but other disciplines will be considered)
Auto Desk CAD: proficiency with 2D drawing
Microsoft Office: proficiency with Word, Excel, and Power Point
Google Workspace: proficiency with Gmail, Drive, and Calendar a plus

- Professional Engineer License 1 - 2 years
